The process started with two phone screenings which were professionally conducted; A take-home assignment and a webcam-verified online CCAT test was also administered. After completing the CCAT test a second time, I was invited for the onsite interview before home assignment was completed. The onsite interview was with a panel of two nice experienced developers and a temperamental management type with questionable software development credentials that the two senior devs in attendance and the recruiter from my first phone screening seems to be super-intimidated by. I was never offered a refund for my travel accommodations to Ottawa for the onsite interview, which was rushed despite a health issue. I was never informed about my CCAT score, which I found very unsettling since I was made to repeat it; When I completed the take-home assignment two days after the onsite interview, I received a dry and impersonal email informing me that I didn't get the job with no feedback about the take-home assignment I worked so hard on a weekend to complete;
