6 steps total, took 2 months 1) online application, 2) behavioral test, 3)HR video interview, 4) Hiring manager video interview, 5) case study, and 6) Team video interview to present the case study I completed all 6 steps but didn't get an offer. Be aware that what they call case study that according to them should take 2-8 hours, consist of two different projects. One is to prepare a research proposal for a client based on a short brief and two, is to prepare a PPT report based on actual survey data they provide (about 59 data tables in excel and one supplemental Maxdiff doc). They said the summary report should be about 2-3 slides. This means if you want to do a decent job, you'll spend many hours reviewing and digesting the data to be able to provide a cohesive summary report. I am in this field for many years with advanced degree in research and I assure you it is not an assignment you can complete in 2-8 hours! I did an impressive job. They were almost apologetic about requiring me to do the assignments knowing that they take a lot of time. At the end they decided to go with a different candidate so they had to give me a reason for not moving forward with me. They said "I didn't pay enough attention to the sample to be able to get all of the different cuts from the analysis". I know they had to say something but this made me laugh. I'd like to challenge their team to provide "all the cuts from the analysis" in 2-3 slides from 59 tables of data in two hours without any actual context and communication with the client! Same story with the research proposal. I went above and beyond and they twisted into a pretzel to come up with something to say. I know the quality of my work and my presentation skills. This decision reflects more on them than me. All and all, I feel they waisted my time with this extensive process for a role that was not that high in the ranks. I hope they make their hiring process more efficient.
