There were several phone interviews with potential peers and 3 levels of management. This was followed by a final interview at the San Jose HQ where I was able to talk to a number of people and see how the culture and business operates. While there I had one on one conversations with people in various roles that were relevant to my target position.

The interview had multiple stages, and was extensive, so to vet me as a candidate. Nutanix says their process ensures they only hire the right people, which I appreciate a lot. The stages were: 1. Initial discussion with the recruiter. 2. An interview with the hiring manager. 3. 2 phone interviews with team members 4. Onsite interview with members of the larger team
