I applied for an Inside Sales Manager position in early January 2024. Within 2 hours of applying, the recruiter reached out asking if I would be available to meet at a specific date and time. I agree. Around 6ish hours later, the recruiter emailed me and stated that I was not in the desired location and canceled the interview. Mind you both my resume and cover letter stated that I was open to relocation. I immediately responded to the recruiter and stated I would still like to have the interview because I am open to relocating and should be considered in the process. The recruiter did not respond. I attempted to contact the recruiter again stating I was still interested in the position. The lack of response from the recruiter is disappointing.
