Scheduled HR phone screening call. I was eagerly on standby for over 10 minutes for our scheduled screening call. I thought I might have gotten the time wrong, but I re-checked my email and indeed I did have the right time. I managed to track down phone number and left a kind voicemail and followed up with an email re perhaps this time was mixed up. I returned back to work, and 20 minutes after our scheduled appointment I get a call. Zero apologies or acknowledgement of tardiness. Now flustered and colleagues within an earshot, I scramble to find privacy to have a conversation. Conversation was out of rhythm and needless to say, I didn't move on. Contrary to the glowing reviews here, I had one of the worst professional experiences with an HR screening. It's a shame, perhaps just the luck of the draw, but I was really interested in the position.
