The entire interview process was fairly easy and friendly. There were 3 stages in total. Stage 1: Interview with Senior UX employee This was a fairly informal interview. The interviewer was friendly, interested and helpful. It lasted for about an hour and we discussed the details of my resume, previous work experience and areas of interest. There were a few cognitive questions to understand my thought process and how logical I was. In response to my questions, the interviewer explained how designers worked at Nutanix. He described the excitements and rewards of the job as well as the challenges and complexity of the product. Stage 2: The Design Task I was given a design task and a week's time to provide my solution. The design problem and deliverables were clearly defined. Once I submitted my solution, I was progressed to the next interview. Stage 3: Interview with the UX Design team I was interviewed by a few members of the UX design team. It lasted for an hour. The questions were mostly related to my design task and previous projects. I was asked to explain the rationale behind my design process and how I progressed through the project. The interview process happened across 2 weeks. Follow up emails to the HR and the final decision took another 2 weeks.
