I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Nutanix (Boston, MA) in Sep 2018
Interview
The job opening was brought to my attention by a current employee. In speaking with this employee, I candidly learned about the day to day and sent them my resume. The corporate recruiter followed up and discussed the role in greater detail and asked questions related to my experience and ended the call by scheduling a follow up call with the hiring manager. This call was about an hour long which ended with an in person meeting. After that, the hiring manager introduced me to their peer for an informal interview. A couple of days later, the hiring manager gave a verbal offer which I gladly accepted.
It was a 4 month process with more than 7 rounds - even thought I got the job I would recommend shortening this process. Because it brings a lot of uncertainty
Fast and responsive. I interviewed within a week for the postition and had the offer on the table within 10 days. overall challenging interview tailored to the role. They gave me enough time to ask all questions needed and to make sure i understand the role i was applying for
Multiple rounds of interviews with multiple people sometimes the same sometimes different. The overall process was ok but seemed somewhat unorganized or at the end of the day where they were not paying attention
