I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at O'Reilly Auto Parts (Spokane, WA) in Mar 2013
Interview
They'll sit you down and ask you about your background (if any) in automotive, and what interests you about it. Fairly standard; expect to know simple automotive-upkeep things, and what parts relate to possible sales items.
'Tell me about yourself' question first followed by time management questions, how to deal with customers that are having a rough day, etc. interview process took about 30min from beginning to end
I applied online. I interviewed at O'Reilly Auto Parts (Phoenix, AZ) in Apr 2018
Interview
The interview was fairly straight forward. No two stores are the same, there is a "suggested" list of questions but all the interviews I saw were different. Just be confident and courteous.
