The first step is to take an aptitude test which is 50 questions in roughly 12 minutes. After passing, you are asked to do a typing test (mostly to assess whether or not you know how to use a computer). The first interview went well and I found everyone to be nice and welcoming. I was given a tour of the office and it was busy (a good sign). The second interview was with the owners where one was friendly and the other, too busy to really show he had any interest in the interview. For a new position that they were opening, I did not get the feeling they knew exactly how to keep their current clients. I mentioned to them I did some research to see what their clients have to say about their services which was not overly positive, and while one acknowledged that it can improve, I think I may have offended them. I believe I met most of the criteria that they wanted but I immediately got the feeling I wasn't what they wanted. It would seem to me that the position itself isn't the answer to their challenges, so not getting an offer isn't a big deal. I suspect they will learn where they can improve throughout the entire process which would be a better approach and save them some money in the process.
