Manual, manual and more manual. If you are a junior QA or someone who doesn´t come from a technical background then this is the right opportunity for you. Unfortunately, the company seems stuck in the past with an immense focus on manual testing. Their QAs (Barcelona ones) have no idea about automation. They describe the job as 50% automation and 50% manual but in reality it´s more like 5% automation and 95% manual. I felt like I was doing an interview for a junior position when I am a senior. The only technical people seem to be the ones in Poland. I think if management is serious about changing the way things work in Barcelona, then probably the interviews should be done by the Polish employees, otherwise Barcelona office will remain stuck in the past with manual and more manual testing. Not to mention that they do nothing in terms of performance testing or security testing.
