Referred by another employee. Applied online then received a phone call, almost like a phone interview and to set up an in person interview on the unit. Interview consisted of behavioral questions and a "shadow" shift.

30 min phone interview with HR representative, 4 hour shadow shift with RN following her patients for the day, then finally a 1 hour interview with Unit Director and charge nurses, follow up with HR 1 week after

We first apply online and get a call. Then we do a shadow shift with a nurse who works on the unit. During your shadow shift you must do a peer interview in front of several nurses who work on the unit.
