I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ochsner Health in Jul 2015
Interview
Screened by an entry level screener, then a recruiter, then with a VP. All by telephone.
Had the exact background they were looking for per recruiter. VP did not call at time scheduled so had to reschedule with recruiter for 2 days later. VP had his assistant call me 10 minutes after the next scheduled time. VP did not apologize for being late. Did not get a great first impression. During the call I thought it went well despite VP needing to end call early to pick up his children from day care. I was unable to ask many questions and was given the impression there would be a next step. This call did not leave me with a good lasting impression. VP did not even provide contact info to write a simple thank you. Emailed recruiter for update and was told they had moved on. Very disappointed in this organization that is supposed to be ranked highly in the region.
4 interviews were required and the pace was fairly slow. They are hiring a lot of directors right now. The salary is low though with ok benefits. Negotiate your salary.
