The phlebotomy interview process typically begins with an initial phone screening to assess basic qualifications and communication skills. Candidates who advance are invited for an in-person interview, often with the hiring manager or a panel. Practical skills assessments, such as venipuncture demonstrations, are a common component. Interviewers also explore candidates' knowledge of safety protocols and patient interaction techniques. A successful interview concludes with a discussion of compensation, benefits, and potential start dates.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ochsner Health (Jefferson, LA) in Apr 2014
Interview
Asked me a series of questions for my first interview then I had two other coordinators asked me the same questions for the second interview process which was odd! The interview lasted no more than two hrs, I was offered the position the next day which was awesome but the only thing that bothered me was the low pay rate again I needed the job so I took what was offered.
