      Anonymous Interview

      Nov 30, 2017

      Bellevue, WA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at OfferUp (Bellevue, WA) in Nov 2017

      Interview

It was quick one interview with the hiring manager then on-site. Majority of the people I spoke with were super easy to talk to and were engaged in the conversation and felt like the is no reason to give it a thumb down but was so applauded. Huge deal breaker for me was one interview was two junior members of the team and were interviewing me to determine my ability as a senior candidate to mentor and develop others. The shadow was on her computer typing the entire time loudly and it was clear it was not in regards to the interview. Note to the shadow... its called a shadow because you are supposed to listen to the interview to learn and listen and whatever email or ping could have waited 45mins or you should have just left the interview. Then when you do speak up don't choose to bash the company that I am coming from saying you don't use it and think it is a fad. Advice to the team make sure you are professional candidates note this and its a reflection of how you treat peoples time. It's a hard market to hire technical professionals they can go and work anywhere and it's a small community...Act professional.
