Absolutely the worst interview process I've ever experienced. After being offer the job I was asked to fill out an application "as a formality". One question was college GPA and I joked with HR that I had no idea it was having graduated 15 years ago and they said just take your best guess! Then later in the pre hiring process they asked for my college transcripts, so I contact my university and get it, and my GPA was .4 off. I laughed and thought, wow what a high opinion I have of myself. Then carried on with the screening. I got a call later that day that my offer was rescinded due to lying about my college GPA. That's fine, they can do whatever they want but I took huge offensive to being called a liar. I joked that I didn't remember my GPA and to be perfectly honest I thought I was pretty close to a 3.5. My bad. The offer was not rescinded because my GPA wasn't high enough, it as because they said I lied. I was offered the job before even filling out an application and did not think that GPA would be a question with 15 years of work experience under my belt. I briefly tried to fight for my offer, then realized if they were going to be so heartless about this situation I wanted absolutely nothing to do with them. I imagined telling someone it was 80 degrees outside only to be called into HR to be reprimanded since it was 75.
Before this fiasco I missed another red flag. I was offered the job Friday at 2pm while in a car on my way out of town for the weekend with friends. They said I needed to take a drug test before hiring, which was no problem at all. I said I had a busy week coming up but I would definitely take it in the coming week as soon as I could. They flipped out, I had several people from the company calling me, saying that my behavior was very suspicious and was making them reconsider, and they asked me to find a drug testing facility in my vacation spot. I could not find one so I STUPIDLY asked all of my friends to head back home early Sunday so I could go to a clinic and take my drug test. It's the first drug test I've ever taken, maybe all companies are this strict, but it was another assault on my character. I had a long planned trip with friends and a last minute job offer. I was made to feel like a criminal because I couldn't take the drug test immediately. Again, for some people this might not be an issue but I wish right then I'd say good bye to them. I only didn't because that would have basically made me look like a drug addict...
I'd steer far from this place if you're a halfway normal human.
