I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman in Sep 2019
Interview
Submitted resume through the on campus interview process. Was invited to a first-round interview on campus. Did a behavioral interview with an Associate and a case interview with a Partner. Each interview was 30 minutes. Case interview was interviewee-led, and was different from typical cases in that it wasn't heavily business oriented. Behavioral was the typical questions you would be asked (why OW, when was a time you had to work in a team, etc.)
it was smooth but you need to work hard on your calculations skills, i failed in this part of the case because the calculator is not allowed and i had not familiarize myself with it before the interview but overall it was a good experience
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
tell me about yourself, why consulting and the case question
I applied online. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (Milan) in May 2026
Interview
Pre-selection with one mini-case/brain teaser of 30 min. Overall, the case was testing both numerical reasoning and logics I would say. If you prepare the mini cases correctly you can pass.
Interviewers never attended on time. Rescheduled 7 times. Cases were easy relative to other firms. They dont take candidates very seriously so prepare for that. Personal questions include why OW?
