I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (New York, NY) in Apr 2020
Interview
Interviewed through the Women's Empowerment program, which involved 3 office visits. Process involved a "non evaluative" presentation case. Final round was 2 back to back case interviews with fit questions at beginning. Interviewers were partners/EMs I had previously gotten a chance to network with through the program.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Market entry and profit maximization cases, much less math/market sizing than other interview's I've had
it was smooth but you need to work hard on your calculations skills, i failed in this part of the case because the calculator is not allowed and i had not familiarize myself with it before the interview but overall it was a good experience
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
tell me about yourself, why consulting and the case question
I applied online. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (Milan) in May 2026
Interview
Pre-selection with one mini-case/brain teaser of 30 min. Overall, the case was testing both numerical reasoning and logics I would say. If you prepare the mini cases correctly you can pass.
Interviewers never attended on time. Rescheduled 7 times. Cases were easy relative to other firms. They dont take candidates very seriously so prepare for that. Personal questions include why OW?
