      Donor Services Specialist Interview

      Sep 23, 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at OneBlood

      Interview

      (1) Submitted application online. (2) Received a call from HR a month later. (3) Had a quick phone interview with HR. (4) Interview set for a panel with three interviewers a few days later. The interview with the three people was very informal and unprofessional. They illegally asked questions about my race, marriage, children, and age. (5) After interview, was contacted with offer pending drug and background check.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They did not ask any unexpected questions. I can't believe they actually asked questions about my age and religion though. And asked about me having children.

Super easy, met with the manager at the store you applied to. Asks you a few questions about customer service scenarios and what you could bring to the team. Had you meet everyone in the donor building. Very good experience

      Saint Petersburg Beach, FL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at OneBlood (Saint Petersburg Beach, FL) in Oct 2020

      Interview

Firstly, they should be more realistic about how hectic mobile schedules are, but they do tell you that every day is different shifts. They will not promote you to TL unless you hold a CDL license and they push DSS to get it also. However, you are able to decline. After they discuss availability, they will ask multiple questions about how you would handle different situations in the field ( coworker error, unruly donor, own mistake, etc.)

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

You are working a shift with a TL and you see they broke the SOP on proper sterilization, how would you address that situation?
