OneMain Financial Data Scientist interview questions

Went through about three rounds in total. The first round was more technical, covering some fundamental concepts, especially around statistics and basic analytical thinking. The second round focused more on case-style questions, where they were trying to understand how to approach business problems and think through trade-offs. The final round was more of a project discussion or presentation, where I talked through my past experience in more detail. Throughout the process, there were also some behavioral questions mixed in. Overall, it was quite interactive, and they seemed to care a lot about how you think rather than just giving “correct” answers.
