I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at OneMain Financial (Manassas, VA) in Nov 2016
Interview
Interviewed with the Store Manager for the first interview, then went on to interview with the District Manager a week later. The hiring process was what took the longest, I'd say. About a month after I was offered and accepted the job offer, I started. Other than that, I'd say an outgoing attitude, and having knowledge of what the company does goes a long way.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What do you know about our company and what we offer?
Phone interview via recruitment/HR then in person interview with branch manager followed by final interview with district manager. Very pleasant experience waiting on background check to come through. Already have start date.
I applied online. I interviewed at OneMain Financial (San Jose, CA)
Interview
The interviewer is a red flag.
1,He was late for the interview over 15 minutes, but he didn't apologize, he made some excuse instead.
2,He whined about one of his employees in my face, he called that employee a bottom producer,
3,He showed me the payslips of his employees and the loan applications of his customers, I could see how much his employees make, the names, address, SSNs and income of his customers, which should not have been revealed to outsiders like me.
4, He tried to pry my age by asking "how old were you when you came to the US?"
The same as everywhere, can't say it was any different or special. I had 3 interviews before I heard anything. It was very professional, very organized, well thought out. They ask about prior work experience
