I had an interview scheduled and the day before the recruiter emailed me saying he had a mandatory meeting at that time and asked if we could reschedule for two days later. I replied that it was fine. Two days later and the time arrives. No call. After 15 minutes I emailed him. Then I called a phone number from his email and no answer. I left a message. No response. 1 hour later I call again and no answer. As soon as I hung up my phone rings. He says “someone from this number called me”. I tell him who it is and explain I hadn’t heard anything and he claims that he called me and it went to voicemail. Yet he didn’t leave a message. He asked if we could talk then and I said yes. He sped through the interview and was very short. After the interview I sent a thank you email. I never heard anything for three weeks and got a denial email. I wasn’t sad. This person should have more respect for other people’s time. Everyone I tell this story to is surprised about the lack of professionalism.
