      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at OpenGov (San Jose, CA) in Jun 2021

      Interview

Overall the interview process was great. I worked with one of the best recruiter and she assisted me through the whole process. I can honestly say she was a big part why the company was so appealing. She really showed the passion and excitement at OpenGov. I met with the hiring manager, CFO, and other individuals on the G&A team. All interviewers asked challenging questions but kept it as a conversation style. Each person provided great insight into the company and its future. All were very passionate about OpenGov and very welcoming.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

A lot of questions were related to providing examples of certain situations or experiences. One of the tougher questions was "In your opinion what are the two key accounts on the Balance sheet and why". I've never been asked that question and it caught me off guard. However, thinking back it was a really good question and really started a great conversation.
