I applied in-person. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at OpenText (Makati City) in Mar 2019
Interview
I had my initial interview over the phone with the HR, which went pretty well. After the call, I was scheduled for a final panel interview. They told me I would hear from them once they reach a decision. It has been over 1 month since my final interview and I have not heard anything from them. I have sent a gentle follow up to the HR who contacted me and she told me to just check my email. I’ve been checking my email and still got nothing from them. I have sent another follow up the following weeks, however, the HR has left me on “read” (I sent the follow up through iMessage) and didn’t even reply. It all seems very unprofessional at this point.
It honestly feels very frustrating as I never got an update regarding my application. I had to travel all the way from the province to get to the interview. I spent time, money, and effort to get to the interview and the HR couldn’t even be bothered to give me a simple message to update me on the status of my application. A simple email telling me that they’re still on the process of making a decision or even a rejection email would’ve sufficed but all I get is being left on “read”. I also tried calling the same person but it seems like I was being ignored. I really hope they look into this.
