Interview process was Straight Forward and to the point. Quick 30 minute HR screening. Then 2 rounds with hiring manager. I was selected to move on to VP interview, but was misled with salary information. There was a range (77-127k) posted and I told the HR that I was looking for the higher end of the salary range. She acknowledged. When I received the VP interview, I was told with "transparency", that they were only offering 100k with no room for negotiation. I politely declined. I felt my time was wasted because they knew I wanted the higher end, but neglected to tell me that during the HR interview. If you know you're only going to a certain salary cap, please post that and be "transparent" from the beginning. Posting a range where you have no intentions on meeting the higher end of is disingenuous at best.
