Applied online by sending a solution to a problem on their website and was then sent an old fashioned intelligence test. After that there was an HR interview. I was rejected after the HR interview with the main reason apparently being that they weren't convinced I would move and commit to working in Amsterdam. I found this odd as if I wasn't willing to do that then I wouldn't have applied, but I didn't want to cause a fuss or get into a stupid argument about it. Being rejected for such a weird reason made the whole process of applying feel like a waste of time.
First there was a long OA of about 3hours. Then, there was a zoom interview on the card betting game with the recruiter. I didn't make it to the next round.
Very smooth, the HR just asked me why Optiver, why quant, what is your strength and weakness, what is the career plan in the next 5 years, but I did not answer very perfect
The first section was the online assessment which wasnt too bad, and the next part was a scheduled face to face behavioural interview. Still waiting to see if i passed that stage of recruitment
