The interview process was straightforward. However, the recruiter waited until after all the interviews (7 total) to inform me that they couldn't extend a formal offer because I live in a geographic tier they couldn't recruit from, despite the hiring manager wanting me on the team and me being willing to accept the compensation package presented. It was such a shame I had to decline based on an HR error/technicality because I am interested in this role's potential. The amount of time and effort invested in trying to get this role was a big disappointment in the end. The time and energy everyone invested in the interview process could've all been mitigated if HR had clearly identified that my geographic location was out of scope for the position upfront. Also, the entire process took a little over two months.
