As a highly-experienced technical support specialist and customer service agent, I have applied to these these types of positions at Organic Valley before finally getting a call back from one of the HR representatives. I had a short interview with the representative that included things such as: why are you fit for the job, why Organic Valley, resume explanations, etc. I was told I had a very good match for the role and should expect to receive an e-mail the following week to schedule a time to come in for an interview. I waited two weeks and called back to get an update (things seem very disorganized in their HR department, by the way), and I was told that they already hired for this position. I don’t really find Organic Valley to have good practices when it comes to hiring. Their HR/application system is very outdated and complicated to use. For such a small company, they also take an extremely long time to update applicants on statuses. From what I know and what I have heard, they also prefer to hire friends and family when they please and create new roles for them. They are very unprofessional.
