This was very disappointing as the recruiter was always very easy to get in touch with and proactively checking in with me between steps. Once the panel interview happened (supposed to be the final step) things went silent. Approximately 1 month later I received a generic rejection email that they would be pursuing other candidates but this was obviously an automated response and not the personal messages I was used to getting throughout. Funny thing is that on the career portal dashboard, my application still says "Under Review" to this day. I understand delays and the time it takes to get all the stakeholder's feedback but for as much time as I invested into the evaluation, and my feeling that I absolutely "nailed" all the interviews, this absolutely sucks the wind out of you emotionally. At least give closure and some feedback so I can move on and improve myself.
