I received a screening call from the Recruiter. The next step was to meet with the hiring team in person. I flew in from out of state at my own expense. They did not offer to fly me in. I interviewed with the medical director of the program and an administrator. After giving an introduction about the job responsibilities the next question was if I had any questions. I had to offer up my own experience level that I could bring to the role, I was informed I wasn’t being moved forward in the interview process. Clearly they had someone else in mind and could have very well conducted this interview remotely over Teams. Poor form on their part. In 25 years, I can honestly say this was the worst interview I’ve had. They should provide a fair, thorough process for screening candidates.
