I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Oshi Health (New York, NY) in Apr 2023
Interview
Up front, was explained the interview process would be a few steps involving mostly interviews with various stakeholders in the organization as well as a short written assignment to ensure the candidate gets a good sense of the organization and has a fair opportunity to ask questions of team members across multiple functions (potential colleagues, your potential direct report, and an HR representative). While the process took a couple of weeks to get through, I was kept in the loop the entire process (about 1 communication touchpoint per week) and felt I had a thorough understanding of the organization, the culture, and the work I would be responsible.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Depends on role, but expect questions around: 1. Your experience and how you would work in a fast-paced startup environment 2. Your work style, both individually and within a collaborative setting 3. Questions about what work culture you want to be a part of 4. For the written assignment: this is to get a sense of your "way of working" and to better understand not just how you might approach a complex situation, but how you articulate what the priorities are to solve and address (to gauge communication skills and problem-solving approach)
I applied online. I interviewed at Oshi Health (New York, NY) in May 2023
Interview
The process took about a month, three interviews, one paper assessment, and one random group interview where they came they just want to understand “how you think” only to waste your time. The group interview is like a pop quiz without have the information necessary completely unprofessional. The whole process is especially when you get ghosted after wasting a month of your time after being told you would hear back. With this job market, this process is just cruel and I’m glad I wasn’t contacted. I want to work for a company that actually cares about their representation and values people’s time. Just like if I was no longer interested they would expect communication, I would expect the same.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard scenario questions until the second to last interview which was based on stealing your ideas for workflows. What would you include in workflows for partnerships with employer programs, what is a project/improvement that didn’t work out and how did you handle it…etc. the last two people a part of the group interview were not very likeable. They treated it as a test that’s someone could either pass or fail…they had no personality and made the process very uncomfortable.
