Applied directly and a few days later, I received an automated email from the recruiting team containing a link to a 3rd party assessment for me to complete before progressing to the next stage.
The multiple-choice assessment contained some really generic questions around selling style, experience etc. The given multiple-choice answers for the questions didn't really make much sense and the whole thing seemed like a waste of time.
It would have been good to actually speak to the company directly first before being forced to do an hour or so long assessment with questions that barely make sense without any real context.

Question 1

Pretty long tedious process. Screening, manager call, activity, panel and more questions. A lot of work for the acticiry qnd presentation and also a lot of different people to interview with
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Outreach (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2024
Interview
Very straight forward. Asked about background, sales experience. Did some sales role play, but was mostly behavioral. Overall, it was quite easy and did not require too much preparation. Just make sure you can talk about yourself and know what the platform and product are and do.

Question 1
How would you best deal with a customer saying this is too expensive?
The recruiting team was lovely to work with. The interview with the hiring manager, however, was heavily scripted and inhibited any kind of connection. It was definitely a one-sided experience.
