      Executive Assistant Interview

      Oct 13, 2020
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at PEAK6 in Oct 2020

      Interview

The HR person reached out to me. I had to ask for a job description more than a few times before I received it. After I finally received it, we set up a time to speak. I prepared and was blown off. She emailed without acknowledging the blunder and we set up a second time to speak. She was late to that call and again, didn’t acknowledge it. She started the call with “what questions do you have for me?” What? Who starts an interview that way? It was clear she didn’t have a pulse on what the position required and had no interest in my skills or qualifications. Why are you wasting my time? After reviewing their website and scrolling through reviews this seems to be normal practice for them. I was relieved to get a unprofessional and hastily written rejection email. The job was then posted to all the regular job sites.
