Double application process. I applied on LinkedIn and received a message from a recruiter that my CV is great but I need to apply second time in their ATS (obviously TA team doesn't know how to use API to link Linkedin with ATS). Of course I was later ignored by the recruiter and received an automated message 3 weeks later that they no longer recruit for this position. Bad talent planning, bad candidate experience and low knowledge of rectech. Shouldn't be surprising as they pay below the market.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No interview, just double application process. Waste of time if you are TA professional.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at PEI Group in Jan 2024
Interview
Initial phone screening, followed by an in office interview, and a final zoom interview.
Major red flags from the start:
- They have now failed to fill this role twice having had their first hire drop out due to receiving a better offer elsewhere (PEI pay below market rates), and the second they hired and then had to let go after 2 months apparently.
- They arranged phone calls and would then not show up to them and ghost you about why.
- The role was a maternity cover, which typically pays slightly above market rates as it’s a short-term role, but PEI we’re paying significantly below market rates.
- Refused to provide feedback despite me getting down to the final two candidates (actually ghosted me when I asked for feedback).
Just generally unprofessional and disorganised from start to finish.
