This process started off well. The company frequently communicated with me and it looked like they were looking for someone quickly. Smooth phone screening. The one-on-one with potential boss felt cold at first, as if it had been decided before we spoke that I wasn't good enough, but she seemed to warm up toward the middle. This process included having to edit two videos unpaid for the peers to discuss during the interview stage they conduct. The peer interview felt a little unprofessional because the peers seemed more interested in talking to each other and about themselves rather than talking to me or even asking me questions. They briefly complimented my work and asked only a couple of questions during a one-hour interview to give you an idea of how often they talked off-topic. Afterwards, I heard radio silence from the company for about a week and a half (which was weird because previously they had been communicating with me almost daily) until I reached out to the recruiter asking for a status update for the job search, and instead of an answer from the human being I had been speaking to throughout this entire process, I was answered via automated rejection email.
