I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PHMG (Chicago, IL) in May 2019
Interview
Contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn who asked to set up a phone screen. They seemed very rushed to continue the process as within an hour of my phone screen they asked if I could come in for an in-person interview that same week. The recruiter I spoke to over the phone advertised the job completely different from how it was later on described at my in-person interview. I interviewed with two managers of their sales team separately, each pretty condescending and acted as if they were too important to be there. During each in-person interview the managers would ask a questions and then sit there on their phones not even paying attention.. extremely unprofessional.

I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at PHMG (Chicago, IL)
Interview
This interview process was 3 stages. The first was a phone screen, then an initial in person, and finally one more in person interview. Melanie Francis was fantastic throughout the entire process. The phone screen she conducted was very thorough and, along with asking the necessary questions in order to qualify me, she presented a ton of information about the company and why it is a great place to work. Next I met with The Director of Sales, Ryan Smith. It was after meeting with him that my interest in PHMG peaked. He walked me through the product step by step, making me see the ultimately value and reason why the company has done so well over seas. I can imagine that if I took this role I would have been very happy working under Ryan. He seems like the kind of guy who values those who will commit fully to their craft and give the company their all. Overall, I would say my experience was extremely positive and it was a very tough decision to reject the offer. If you get the opportunity to fill a role in the new Chicago office I would definitely recommend doing it.
