I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PIMCO (London, England) in Mar 2018
Interview
It was an over the phone interview and therefore not very interactive. However, the interviewer was very understanding. I would definitely do lots of research into pimco as a company before any interview.
This interview process had to be the worse process I’ve ever been involved in. First and foremost they put me through 10 rounds of 30 -60 min interviews for around 2-3 months. It was over the top for an ENTRY level role. On top of that some of the interviewers had no idea who I was ( they never received my resume) and had no idea what the role was for. I had to fill them in and they had no questions prepared to ask me. After 10 rounds of interviews I waited 3 weeks to hear back ( at this point I’ve already been in contact with them for 4 months), in those 3 weeks I followed up with the recruiter 2 times asking for the status of my application. After radio silence the recruiter sends me an AUTOMATED rejection email. Again after 4-5 months of interviewing and back and forth conversations with the recruiter, they didn’t even bother responding to the email and sending an automated rejection. Overall WOULD NOT recommend working for this company’s HR team as they are extremely disorganized which is a reflection of the entire company.

Question 1
10 people asked me the same questions: Tell me about yourself ? Why do you want to work here?
