I applied online. I interviewed at PIMCO (Austin, TX) in Jun 2025
Interview
HR almost sent me same assessment twice. Reached me 6AM on a National holiday demanding same day response (before noon) and gave interview notice 3 hours before 4 rounds of panel interview without any options for me to confirm or reschedule. Assessment was really easy but I doubt the overall logistics of this company.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at PIMCO in Nov 2021
Interview
This was my first one-way interview so I did not know what to expect exactly. The system restarted itself a few times without any notification in the middle of my response. It was not a great experience.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at PIMCO (Newport Beach, CA) in Oct 2021
Interview
Weird interview.
A recruiter reached out to me to tell me they had an urgent opening. During one of the calls, the hiring manager said that this was going to a long time. They had a lot of candidates.
The interviewers felt forced to be there. I honestly don't believe they knew about the interview. Probably got added last minute or something.
I am kind of glad they took so long to make their decision. After the interview, I realized this team was not the right team for me.
I have friends at PIMCO and they love it. I will do more research before applying to positions like this one.
