Interview
Took 6 months and interviewed with at least 10 people. The recruitment process can be slow at PIMCO as they want a number of influential people to approve of you. They have lost a lot of good candidates due to this delay as people had to accept offers from other places.
Call with HR, then call with hiring manager if you advance to that stage. From there, would be an in person interview with the team. I did not make it past the 2nd round.
I did a HireVue, waited two weeks than was asked to do a video interview with HR. I then met with the Hiring Manager. Pretty general questions asking about general market / product knowledge, who you networked with ect.
Had over 8 interviews with every member of each team and region, started out with HR and then with hiring manager and then with every manager in Tokyo. Once that was one there were interviews with overseas managers.
