I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PPD (Athlone) in Jan 2018
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter from Bulgaria who works for PPD. She was polite and setup the interview. I think that the feedback was inadequate from only an attached pdf in the email. I came with my best foot forward to try and persuade the interviewers. In the room the HR person asked questions from a poor quality speaker from the Cambridge location.
I badly wanted the job in a GMP facility. The interview lasted an hour and was most questions were asked by the HR manager. To be honest I think I did well enough to progress to a second interview. However there is a rigorous hiring process. I was well evaluated and I think I would deserve the job. The job was always readvertised on linkedIn. If ye want to waste your resources of an hour per candidate then that's welcome. Otherwise a review or competency questions at the start can reduce the hiring process and time spent on giving interviews. Optimise the process as it is outdated.
Gladly I did get some interview experience to be more calm about the position than enthusiastic. All the best. Looking forward to trying again.
It was a multi-interview process. The first interview was a general interview with a recruiter. The next interview was with two managers. It lasted an hour, 30 minutes to interview with each manager.
