I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at PURE Insurance (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2020
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn and we quickly set up a phone interview within the next week. The lady who I talked to was very personable and walked me through the day-to-day responsibilities, etc. standard interview run-down. The call itself was around 22 minutes, and we set up another phone screen for the following week with someone higher up (possibly her manager). Overall they were a great company, I just wasn't ready to move across the country quite yet.

I applied online. I interviewed at PURE Insurance (Phoenix, AZ) in Sep 2024
Interview
I recently applied for a position and was contacted by a PURE talent acquisition specialist to schedule a phone interview. Unfortunately, when the scheduled time arrived, I never received a call, and despite my efforts to follow up, there was no response. This lack of communication felt unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. After further research, I came across concerning reviews from employees, many of whom reported being overworked and underpaid, particularly in member advocate roles. Given the company’s 67% rating on Glassdoor, I now see this experience as a blessing in disguise.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at PURE Insurance
Interview
The interview questions were about my past experiences with other jobs I’ve had. Most of the people I interviewed with were from the Arizona office which is the one I wanted to be in.
The first step was doing an interview where a question was asked and you recorded your answer. The secondary interview involved meeting with a manager over the phone. Last step in the interview process was super day. It was a great experience getting to meet the different staff throughout the claims department.
