I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PURE Insurance
Interview
I had a phone interview with someone who knew very little about the Underwriting Program that I was being interviewed for. When I asked him about the program he responded by saying "I didn't go through it so I don't know much but I hear its good". Mostly personal questions not related to the job itself. After the phone conversation I received an email invite to an in-person interview, then a day later got a call saying the invite was a mistake and my candidacy was no longer being considered. Extremely unprofessional.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PURE Insurance (Scottsdale, AZ) in Apr 2015
Interview
After submitting my resume I spoke with the HR Representative over the phone for an exploratory conversation and was then set up with a phone interview with my soon to be Manger. It must have been a day after the phone interview that I was contacted by HR to schedule my in-person interview. I met with 3 people from different departments for the interview and it lasted about an hour and a half. I will say that everyone I interviewed with was very professional, but also made you feel very comfortable and were not at all intimidating which was very refreshing! The same day of my interview, I heard back from HR and was told that they would like to make me an offer, to which I immediately said yes. I was asked to complete an IQ and personality test online, and within a couple of days I was offered the position. All in all the process was very well organized and most importantly, the turn around time was very expeditious.
