Day 1: handed in CV,CL and filled in a form I saw the hiring adv in the shop. I brought my cover letter and CV next day then the HR manager gave me a form to fill in. In that form it has lots of questions: Your contact details and position you willing to apply Why you choose pandora? What’s your strength? Weakness? Describe an excellent customer service looks like? Describe an excellent customer service you provided to your customer? Why you leave your previous job? Why should we hire you? Your available time? Then I’ve been told to wait 2-3 days for response. 2 days later: Phone interview with HR manager I had a short telephone interview. What do you know about pandora? What’s your strength? (better mention any other languages you can speak） Then she told me coming next day for a formal interview. (No need to bring any additional documents. But better wearing ALL BLACK because this is how their dressed.) Next day: Formal Interview (lovely experience) I met the store manager, she had a 3 pages questions ready to ask me. It took 1 hour and just me and the store manager. She asked me question, I answered then she was the one take notes to fill the blank space in that 3 pages long paper. First part: Tell me about yourself . Your previous working experience etc. (this part is not that hard) Second part: Scenario question 1.When you just finished serving a customer and ready to serve the next. Then you ask the crowed ‘who is the next?’ then lots of people say ‘I’m the next!’ What are you going to do? Who you going to pick for the next one? Suggest answer: you should not choose the one near you or the one answering the first. Instead, you should ask loudly the person in front of you ‘were you the next ?’ (then this person will say Yes in the crowed, then others won’t say anything. Or if the person say No, he/she will point out who is the one before him/her !!!!!!!) 2.A girl came to your store. She is looking for a particular ring that sold out from city store and she is been told to come to your store. However, that ring just sold out today. What are you going to do ? Suggest answer: Appologise, then showing her the similar style or same style necklace or earring. Do not told her to come back. Coz she will never come back!!! Doesn’t matter what you say, just make sure you are going to sell at least one item to her. Third part: Role play She gave me 5 rings, 1 pair of earring (the style is match 1 ring), 1 necklace and 1 bangle with lots of charms. All with blue color. You have to create the scenario, ask her favorite color, what kind of occasions? She mentioned her bestie’s birthday party. Then ask her maybe can buy something for the gift etc. Tips: try to find more opportunities to sell and find her preference during the conversation. At the end of formal interview, I been told to attend a 3 hours TRAIL next week. I will talk to customers. After the trail then I will have a chance to meet the store owner talking about contract and working hours.
