I handed my cv in in store when I noticed a sign up on the shop window asking for seasonal selling assistants over the Christmas period. It took them a couple of weeks to ring me (I assume because Is I handed my cv in well before the deadline). They rang me and asked if I was still interested in the job and I was so they offered me an interview date/time. They also asked what my availability was on the phone. My interview was a group interview held after closing hours on the shop floor. There were 3 other candidates other than myself and we were interviewed by the shop manager and assistant manager. Upon sitting at our table we had to fill out a form indication our availability etc. The interview itself was very laid back, most of the tasks we had to do were teamwork based, finding out information about each other etc. We had to then sell them an item we had on us, and that was pretty much it. I was offered the job there after the interview and have my training next week.

The hiring manager was very friendly. It was a group interview and had to answer some competency questions. Then had some group tasks to do. The whole interview took almost an hour.
