Applied for the job through Linkedin and I was invited for an interview 2-3 weeks later. (Which is late for a freelance role) Had a video interview with the recruiter of around 30 min. I expected more of Patagonia! Disappointed by the quality of the interview. She literally went through a list of questions. There was no real interaction/ true conversation building up. After 15 min she asked me to ask questions, which again, did not lead to a genuine conversation. I felt that the focus was too much on environmentalism, and too little on skills/experience/results. Patagonia seems to be a great brand/company, so sell it! Did not leave the interview with the impression that I had a good understanding of the company. The recruiter said there would be 2-3 more interviews. She gave no concete timeline. Final verdict: slow process with a lot of interviews for a freelance role. Company not sold well enough. Poor interviewing skills.
