4 rounds of interview 3 rounds of technical and 1 manager First 2 rounds were okay and I was able answer their design questions but they were looking for very specific answers and not the approach taken. 3rd round of interview was quite disappointing as the interviewer had "I know everything" attitude and to most of my answer he would laugh sarcastically and deny the answer which was very unprofessional . 4th Manager round was semi-formal and we discussed on network designs and he seemed quite confident with me . After 5 long weeks of interview process I never got any feedback from Paypal . which was another disappointing thing as you would expect something when you spent hours interviewing with a reputed company . Interesting thing which Happened ---> I got call from 2 different 3rd party recruiters for the Same role and got know Paypal has been looking for this role for past 9 months . Which I am curious to know how their leadership is okay with this as it seems like they are interviewing to only reject .

The interview was for cloud backbone engineer and it had 2 members as a panel one seemed like from networking background and other from cloud. The process started with networking questions and one from the panel seemed very much sarcastic for all the answers which I would say. The questions were not like straight forward so the answers also wont be perfect and straight forward and I tried my best to give the answer based on my experience. For every answer he would giggle and say "no that is not how its done" each and every company will have its own design I felt it was very unprofessional, never had such a experience before. And then they came to cloud related questions. The position was for 5-7 years exp position and they were expecting architect level experience person to this role. I felt I answered most of the cloud questions fairly but they were not satisfied with me not giving answers to their most stupid problems. And at the end he is asking me to go for other position which they are hiring for,I thankfully denied.
