I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paychex (High Point, NC) in Feb 2016
Interview
I applied online was immediately contacted by someone asking me to take an online assessment which I did. Someone called me about a week later asking for a phone interview which I did. Then couple weeks later I had an in-person interview. Or at least I thought it was an in-person interview. They took me to an empty office and I had an interview with managers in other locations. I was told that I would hear something either way in about a week or so. That was in February and it is now July and so far I have not heard anything at all of course I don't ever expect to. I have called a couple of times trying to get an update and I'm always told the same thing that someone will be in contact with me either way. So far I have not even gotten a rejection letter or a call for a 2nd interview. This company seems so very unorganized.

Question 1
Describe a time when you made a mistake and how you handled it
I had two interviews. First one was with one manager and the second was with two other managers. The interview s lasted about 30 minutes each. They asked about my payroll background and several questions that started out with, "tell me about a time..."
Very simple. A round table interview with scenario-based questions. They ask mostly about previous interactions with co-workers as well as customers. It is a customer service job and you are dealing with payroll which can get very overwhelming
