I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paylocity (Schaumburg, IL) in Feb 2018
Interview
"Behavioral Style" Interview following multiple phone interviews and online assessment measuring basic reading and math skills, as well as problem solving.
Be warned, the interviews are entirely subjective. You could ace a prior interview, and receive no offer and negative feedback on an ensuing one. My particular interviewers seemed to have no ability to look objectively at my resume and accumulated experiences. Rather, one misstep in responding to one of their questions resulted in feedback amounting to "Your sixteen years of experience in Customer Service are insufficient for this ENTRY LEVEL position." This response not only shocked me, but also my recruiter, who voiced that he assumed it would be a slam dunk and I would be extended an immediate offer. This has left a bad taste in my mouth, and unfortunately as a result I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking employment.

Question 1
What was a stressful situation you dealt with in a previous position, and similar such questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Paylocity (Schaumburg, IL) in Jun 2026
Interview
The interview process started with 4 assessments. There were timed math, spatial awareness and reasoning assessments and an untimed behavioral assessment. From there I was contacted for a Microsoft teams interview with my recruiter. After that, there was an in-person interview with the hiring managers. I had a third interview on Teams, but I don't think that is normally the case. All in all the process was great, they made it easy and it went quickly. I never went more than 2 business days without hearing from someone.

Nice interview and interviewee. Did my first phone call interview and everything seems nice and straight to the point. I was informed about the pay and busy seasons but looking at the previous reviews, it is kind of making me raise some eyebrows.
