I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paylocity (Arlington Heights, IL) in Aug 2013
Interview
Originally had set up phone interview after being contacted through email because I was a match for what they were looking for. Recruiter went over position thoroughly and didn't leave out any details except pay. Went over basic questions like stressful situations, how to prioritize ect... everything sounded good so I was set up with an in person interview. Met with two team leads who went over company and position more in depth , asked me questions about my background in customer service and details about my career experience. Everything went good again and then spoke to their manager of the department and apparently everything looked good but hiring manager was out of town at time. Was told they would contact me in about a week and 4 days later I was contacted with a result. I was what they were looking for and the company and benefits were excellent so I accepted the offer.

Question 1
Not many were unexpected. I would say how do I handle stressful situations.
I applied online. I interviewed at Paylocity (Schaumburg, IL) in Jun 2026
Interview
The interview process started with 4 assessments. There were timed math, spatial awareness and reasoning assessments and an untimed behavioral assessment. From there I was contacted for a Microsoft teams interview with my recruiter. After that, there was an in-person interview with the hiring managers. I had a third interview on Teams, but I don't think that is normally the case. All in all the process was great, they made it easy and it went quickly. I never went more than 2 business days without hearing from someone.

Interview
Nice interview and interviewee. Did my first phone call interview and everything seems nice and straight to the point. I was informed about the pay and busy seasons but looking at the previous reviews, it is kind of making me raise some eyebrows.
