Terrible interview experience. I find it interesting that I've seen many people say the same thing. They get a hold of your resume and hound you to continue in the process for months and when you do, they reject you for candidacy after you make it to the last round of interviews. I have had it with all employers of the world. We are currently in a pandemic with worldwide labor and job shortages. If someone takes the time to apply for a position with your company and they have the skill set that will make them successful within the role, please give them a chance. The state of the world has a lot of people feeling like they lost their way, fighting depression and anxiety daily, not trying to lose their mind or harm themselves. There is no way a person should have to apply, take multiple tests, have multiple interviews for a job that is not willing to pay 6 figures a year. Please be conscious of people's times. There might be someone who speaks better or interviews better but if you don't take the time to understand why you are basically operating from a biased, archaic, elitist POV. A lot of people can talk a good game but do they have the track record when it comes to actual performance? Some people may not answer your questions perfectly but if they are ready and willing to do the work why would you deny them, especially in a global crisis like this? That is very callous and cold. A lot of companies want everyone to feel as if they are the best company to work for when, in actuality, they lack empathy, sympathy and compassion and they don't recognize potential. No one is perfect. You don't know what shortcomings a person has. Be kind!
