I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Pearson (Miami, FL) in Feb 2025
Interview
I applied for the position on January 2, 2025. I kept track of this position's openings and closings. It opened and closed probably twice before February 1st. However, I also noticed that my application was still under consideration. Finally, and to my surprise, I received an email from the Senior Recruiter, around February 5th to submit an introduction video and a demonstration video on a long accounting problem. It was requested to be submitted within 2 days. I was not prepared, but went out of my way to create the videos. I am a tidy person. The videos were presented orderly, step-by-step, and professional manner, regardless of my current commitments.
Just a couple of hours after submitting the videos to the Senior Recruiter and Lead Instructor, I noticed that the position had reopened, that fast. This was evident that they were not going to proceed with my application. Why shouldn't I feel that a biased decision was made not to move forward (based on my age, gender, and/or race)? From someone who is not based in America. Oh, and yes my status changed to "NOT RETAINED" in Pearson's system no email was received.
If you visit Pearson's channel and current tutors, you will see exactly what I am talking about.
